River Bank Bible Institute

The peoples of the Valley are ministered to, for the most part, by men and women from the local communities themselves.  God raises up leaders in these villages and gives them a hunger to the Word.  Most of these have no more than a fourth grade education.  They are called to lead the new Christians of the area where they were born, were raised and came to know Christ themselves.

Providing a place and environment for sound Biblical teaching, is of great importance to AMOR.  Over the years of our ministry, more than 100 New Testament churches have been established where, today, more than 14,000 believers meet to study the Word and worship together on a regular basis.  In each of these places, before our going, there was no evangelical presence whatever.

RBBI provides the opportunity for lay-pastors to come and share in a time of study and comradery.  These leaders spend most of the year isolated in their various regions of the Valley.  The fellowship they enjoy during these week-long sessions is refreshing and sweet.

Through the sponsorship of individuals and churches here in the USA, AMOR covers all costs involved in transportation, lodging, study materials and meals for any lay-pastor who expresses the desire to attend, regardless of denominational affiliation. 

The Institutes take place twice each year and are attended by an average of more than 50 such pastors.  Your help in providing the funds for RBBI is a great way of reaching the many through the teaching of the few.
