Evangelism

Evangelism teams circulate within the villages as the other teams are tending to medical, construction, etc. These teams share their faith with those they feel led to visit. Each individual is encouraged to seek God’s leading in this endeavor. We all have a personal witness that may be just the message an individual needs to find hope in a relationship with God, their Creator. This is a beautiful ministry of sharing by word or deed what He has done for you.

These teams may also invite small groups to gather and study the Word. This is a time of reading and answering questions. Many of the locals have never had the opportunity to sit and discuss Scripture. The end result is always good. Many go on to teach others in the community in a similar manner. This is an exciting way to share what God has shown you in your walk with Him.

When New Testaments are available, we encourage placing at least one in each home of the community, along with a personal witness. In late-afternoon or early evening, we hold a worship service, inviting all who care to attend. This is a special time when we are able to fellowship with the locals in a non-professional way at the end of the day. Much bonding and life-changing experiences take place at service time.
